The agency is “on track” to reach its objective of having 6,000 associates by the end of 2024
The year 2022 was the one in which Huttons Asia saw a 17% increase in the amount of agents. Its Council for Estate Agencies’ (CEA) public register shows that Huttons Asia saw an growth of 718 agents in the this year, increasing from 4,154 agents January 1, 2022 to 4,872 agents by January 1st of this year. It is still the third largest agency in Singapore.

Through a release the agency reveals how it’s the agency that is growing the fastest for another year. In 2021, the agency recorded 29% increase, growing from 3,210 employees as of Jan 1st, 2021 to 4,154 associates on January 1st of 2022.
It also notes that many agents from other companies have decided to sign up with Huttons. “For instance, 320 agents who were from PropNex, 93 agents from ERA Realty, 44 from OrangeTee & Tie and 22 from SRI relocated to Huttons. Huttons has hired the services of 451 real estate salespeople and returned salespeople who had been in the business in less than two months” the report states using data directly from CEA as well as Data.gov.sg.
Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia, says the agency is “on track” to achieve its target of 6,000 associates by the end of 2024. “Achieving the distinction of being the most rapidly growing agency, for the second year in a row was not an easy task given the economic as well as the property industry was facing,” he remarks.
As per Yip, Huttons will intensify its efforts to provide an “efficient technologically-equipped, highly-data-rich, and data-rich organization and the best in-house training and support for brokers”. Yip adds that “Our shared culture of sharing helps set Huttons apart from other organizations. We also place a premium on the authenticity and relevance of our work.”
